Almost anyone who’s been to West Africa knows of the decades-long debate on which country has the best Jollof rice (even Richard Quest and Bourdain got involved)! 😄 However, yesterday I stumbled across a place near my office that has Chebujen/Thieubodienne (the Senegalese jollof/meal cooked with herbs, vegetables) and it was fabulous! I had mine with Grilled lamb. They have other meals too including dishes from Ivory Coast, Senegal/Gambia and Nigeria in West Africa. Pfffff Mindblown! Will def be back! It’s on Wilcrest and is called Unique African Cuisine. 😍😍😍. Plus my server Uche was awesome.
