I miss road trips. As much as a breastfed baby misses its just-returned-to-work-after-maternity-leave Mommy! ๐ญ ๐ถ๐ฝThere’s nothing quite like having a cleared schedule, gas in your tank, essentials in your trunk and clear, safe highways being eaten up by your sleek ride. Music on blast, great company (or solo) and cruising in great weather with the breeze in my hair is surely the closest thing to Utopia on earth.

So you can imagine how much I would love to go on this drive – The Pan-American Highway! Spanning some 19,000 miles, the Pan-American Highway is the longest roadway in the world.ย Starting in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, the road moves south, passing through Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Central America. There, the road hits a small bump, where travelers have to pass a gap connecting Central and South America briefly by sea before moving through Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile, and ultimately ending in the southern tip of Argentina. Like…. literally…. how amazingly adventurous, wild and free does that sound? ๐ Have any travelbugs here actually done this drive? Would you? Let us know in the Comments section! I need to live vicariously through you until I can do this.
